ESG Security is an independent, security company established by former Royal Marine 45 commando David Hoey.

In 1988 David set up ESG Security sensing an opportunity to ‘raise the bar’ in an industry which was expanding but still very much in its infancy.

When I set up ESG Security in 1988, I was met by an entirely different industry than that of today. There was no training, no regulations, no licensing, simply no professionalism.

ESG Security sets out to continually ‘raise the bar’ above its vast number of competitors. David leads this effort by instilling his military standards of leadership and discipline into ESG Security’s management team. Ultimately David believes in getting the job done right the first time.

ESG Security’s motto is: ‘respond, understand, overcome’. These virtues are used to inspire, train, and motivate our security officers; and raise the quality of service for our customers.

ESG Security has achieved Security Industry Authority – Approved Contractor Scheme accreditation. Based on ACS scores published on the SIA website, ESG Security is in the top five per cent of ACS companies. This assessment is made annually, so this score reflects a very high level of consistency.

ESG Security is one of few industry-leading, national providers of professional security guarding services, concierge and reception security services; door supervisor services; vehicle mobile patrol services; keyholding services, alarm response services, remote CCTV monitoring services, and electronic security systems installation and support services.
