Remembrance Sunday 2021

Remembrance Sunday, which falls on 14 November in 2021, is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

Solihull Council has asked the local community and military organisations to attend Sunday’s Remembrance service, being held outside St Alphege Church.

David Hoey, Managing Director of Solihull based ESG Security, and a member of Solihull’s Royal British Legion formally took part in the event. David joined other RBL representatives to lay a wreath at the base of Solihull’s war memorial. This year marks the 100^th anniversary of Solihull’s war memorial which was installed in 1921, and remains in its original position.
