ESG Security in top 5% of UK security companies for compliance and quality of service
ESG Security holds Security Industry Authority (SIA) – Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) accreditation, this is a voluntary scheme managed by the SIA as part of its remit to “raise performance standards and to assist the private security industry in developing new opportunities”.
Based on SIA reports, ESG Security is in the top 5% of accredited companies. To maintain accreditation ESG Security meet 89 performance indicators which are based upon recognised business improvement models such as ISO 9001 Quality Management.
The ACS accreditation highlights to clients that the service provided is of a high quality and is compliant with various British Standards (BS 7858, BS 7499, BS 7984-1). The SIA publishes a register of Approved Contractor’s on its website.
The annual ACS assessment is carried out by the Security Systems and Alarm Inspection Board (SSAIB), who are a member of the United Kingdom Accreditation Service. To maintain our position within the top 5% we must keep refining our policies and procedures, corporate social responsibility, financial management and most importantly service delivery.
ESG Security holds SIA-ACS accreditation for the provision of Security Guarding, Key Holding and CCTV Monitoring.
Security Industry Authority – Approved Contractor Scheme
The Private Security Industry Act 2001 requires the SIA to establish a “system of inspection for the providers of security services, under which those organisations who satisfactorily meet those standards may be registered as approved, and may advertise themselves as such”.
